Manufactured by the people who brought you FeverScanTM, the Forehead Thermometer is a safe, simple and effective temperature guide. As seen from the picture, a Forehead Thermometer can be used whilst baby or toddler is asleep and with very little disturbance. Unlike other Forehead thermometers, the Ultra Celcius measures temperature in increments of .5 deg C which makes it more accurate and easier to read and unlike digital thermometers does not need to be recalibrated, if knocked. It is quality endorsed by the CE mark. How to use the Ultra Celcius Forehead Thermometer 1.Hold the thermometer firmly at both ends and press flat against the middle of a dry forehead. 2.Hold in place for at least 15 seconds. 3.Read the thermometer while it is on the forehead. (Use a mirror to read the thermometer on yourself). Look at the boxes and check the colour. 4.Green indicates the correct temperature. The forehead responds rapidly to changes in internal body temperature. If fever is indicated (38°C and above) or in case of doubt, you should consult your doctor, especially with babies and toddlers. Remember: Normal temperature can vary from one person to another but should be around 37°C (98,6°F), Take your family's temperature when they are healthy and record it. Store in its case out of reach of children, in a cool dry place away from sunlight and direct heat sources. Carefully read the information leaflet packed with the thermometer before use.
